The Dominica Citizenship and Investment Programme is governed by the Constitution of Dominica, the Citizenship Act of 1991, and the Revised Laws of Dominica. Section 101 of the Constitution, Section 8 and 20(1) of the Citizenship Act and Chapter 1:10 of the Revised Laws of Dominica refers.

Economic Diversification Fund

(Donation option)

The Economic Diversification Fund (EDF) is a Dominican Government programme supporting socio-economic initiatives with the aim of driving national development.

The Economic Diversification Fund (EDF) supports public and private projects within Dominica, covering industries such as education, healthcare, sport, and tourism.

This was established through the country’s Citizenship by Investment Programme, as one component of a national capital mobilisation portfolio.

Applicants can acquire economic citizenship to Dominica by making a financial contribution to its EDF.

Real Estate Option

Real estate is another investment option for Dominica CBI applicants.

The property must be held for at least three years and be authorised by the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica, with all approved real estate projects listed here.

  • D2- Fingerprint and Photograph Form
  • D3- Medical Certificate with blood and urine test results
  • Application Form 12 (two (2) completed and notarized copies)
  • Oath of Allegiance Form

Personal and Identification Documents

  • Certified copy of all passports held
  • Certified copy of birth certificate and MOFA attestation
  • Certified copies of marriage certificates with MOFA attestation
  • Certified copies of Divorce Certificates if applicable
  • Certified copy of Driver’s License if applicable
  • Certified copy of all identity documents/books or cards
  • Certified copy of all military service and discharge documents

Criminal Background Check Documents

  • Police Report for all applicants 16 and above in all countries lived in for at
    least six (6) months in the last ten (10) years.
  • Parents to sign an affidavit to declare children aged twelve to fifteen (12-15)
    have no criminal record

Supporting Documents

  • Proof of Address (certified copy of lease agreement or original utility bill)
  • Certified copy of university/college diplomas
  • Affidavit of support for each dependent aged 18 or over
  • Original HIV test results (for applicants aged 12 or above)
  • Detailed business background reports/resume/CV

  • Confirmed bank statements for the previous twelve (12) months
